From Dad :*

Hey guys!

So my dad went to the US and he got back some stuff for me! <3

America has everything that I love and everything that I love here in China is insanely overpriced. Stupid taxes.

Okay first, he got some Bath and Body Works stuff for me! Actually, I printed the pictures out so he could find it easier. I LOVE BBW. I don't know why it's only available in the US and Canada. They should open stores worldwide.

5 for $5 PocketBac hand sanitizers! 3 of these are from the winter collection.

Dancing Waters smells really similar to this one, but this one has a peppermint smell. It's smells really fresh.

Sugared Vanilla Wish is REALLY good. I love vanilla scents you guys know me already.

This is one of my favorites out of the 5 my dad got for me.

I don't care if you say that this hand sanitizer is for men. It's still really good LOL. If there are any guys out there reading this, I'm telling you, you should get this.

And yeah this just smells fresh and unoffensive.

I also asked my dad to get a PocketBac holder for me so that I can hang it on my bag. *Typical American girl. Not American though.* The name is called "Smarty-Bear"! It's so nerdy just like me. I think my dad got it for $5.

2  for $22 Three-wick candles! I can tell you that these are so much more worth it than the Yankee Candles my grandma got for me back in Singapore. And even if they weren't on sale, they are also much cheaper than Yankee Candles. I have yet to burn these BBW candles but they smell SO good.

So, I got Leaves and Mahogany Teakwood. The design is slightly different from what I expected but I think it's just a winter design. THESE TWO CANDLES are what girls on Youtube talk about all the time. They just smell so good and you will not go wrong even with them if you blind bought them.

I love Mahogany Teakwood. It smells like... cologne. But it's really good! It's really similar to the perfume you will smell in Abercrombie and Fitch or Hollister. I like this more than Leaves because I like stronger scents. :>

Leaves smells really good too. I have no idea how to describe it because it's just a really, really unique scent. It smells just like fall or winter.

Dad also got this Maybelline Babe Skin Pore Eraser for me. A lot of people have been talking about this, and saying how their pores seem to magically disappear. I personally think that it does not work as well as how people describe it.

It basically just blurs out your skin so the pores are less obvious, but I feel like my pores are still visible. Well, it's inexpensive and you cannot expect too much from it! I heard that it's silicone based and so it feels really smooth when you spread it on your face, but I also heard that silicon based products will clog up you skin even more, causing breakout and blackheads. I'll just be using this as a primer, so that my foundation can stay on longer, but not on a regular basis.

There's also another similar product by Benefit called the Poreforefessional but that's just really expensive. You could give this a try first. On a scale of 1-10, I will rate my satisfaction on this product 6-7. I'm not sure how much my dad got this for though!

I was running out of foundation so I asked my dad to get a Benefit foundation for me. This is the Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow foundation in Beige. BUT he got it in the wrong shade, even when I wrote down what shade I wanted. This shade is obviously TOO DARK for my skin.

I really like how this product feels on my skin though. The Mac foundation I had, called the Studio Sculpt, was really thick and it left lines at the side of my mouth. You know how it looks like you're  really old and you have wrinkles when you smile? I really didn't like that. Maybe it isn't as suitable for Asian skin? This Benefit foundation is pretty thin but it does the same thing as the Mac one. The coverage is really decent. This one cost $36. My dad got it at Sephora.

This is how I look like with no make up. While I am writing this, there is a significant increase in the number of pimples on my face already because semester finals are coming up and I'm really stressed out.

I really like the design of this foundation!

So obviously, it's too dark.

Like OMG the terror...

But great problems require great minds to solve them. My mum gave me a BB cream that she doesn't use a really long time ago and I didn't use it too, because it's TOO light. It's from Hanskin if you're interested. I'm not sure where it's from though. Oh wow I have yet to find something that perfectly fits my skin yet... Anyway, the solution is really simple. I just mix in with the Benefit foundation on my hand.

AND NOW, I don't look so bad. (:

Time for some concealer. But my dad got it in 2 shades and they don't really fit me again. LOL. So let's use the same solution of mixing these 2 concealers together. This is the Make Up Forever Full Cover concealer. It's coverage is really good! It's a little pricey though, each cost $32 from Sephora.

6 is too light.

8 is too dark.

Okay so this is as "flawless" as I can get.

And I finally got the Coralista Face Powder from Benefit! It's just a blush actually. I love coral colors. You can never go wrong with them and the packaging is sooo pretty!

I know it doesn't look too obvious but trust me, it's just the lighting.

Alright, so that's all I have!

I won't be posting as much now because exams are in 2 weeks and all of a sudden, all the teachers are overloading us with homework and really important tests. I'm like super stressed out. Okay bye.

I hope you enjoyed this post!
